The College of Horticulture, Venkataramannagudem was established in the year 2007 as a constituent college for Dr.YSR Horticultural University. 

Main objective : Imparting quality education to the students to develop them as trained personnel in the field of horticulture. 

The college offers B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, M.Sc (Hort.) in five departments i.e.

 i) Fruit Science  ii) Vegetable Science   iii) Floriculture and Landscape Architecture   iv) Spices, Plantation, Medicinal & Aromatic Crops and  v) Post harvest Management 

Ph.D in Four departments i.e. i) Fruit Science, ii) Vegetable Science, iii) Floriculture and Landscape Architecture  and iv) Spices, Plantation, Medicinal & Aromatic Crops.
